New Story: '1974: THE AMBIGUOUS CHARACTER OF A WOMAN LIKE MITZI HUBBOCK'
A new story of mine was shared by Expat Press earlier this month. “1974: The Ambiguous Character of a Woman Like Mitzi Hubbock” is a story from my ongoing D*sneyland book project. I can’t be anything but proud of this piece because it really is just an obscure representation of something experiential and personal to myself, and the distance it places between the original feeling and what is being represented is where the beauty of all the art I love lies. So this one really works for me.
For a bit of fun background info, just one hint at what this thing is about (and not to give it all away), but here is at least one true historical fact: someone did fire a (bb) gun in the haunted mansion and shattered the glass in the ballroom in the process.
